Beautiful nature setting. A 4WD track down to a basically private beach. Amenities good. Staff very friendly. Nice shade. Great location in between 1770 and Agnes. We had the Japanese food van out the front, don’t miss out on that, it was delicious

Stayed for 2 nights on a powered site. Showers had very old interior however good water pressure and hot water. This campsite is a bush style camp so bring your insect repellent!! Helpful and friendly staff with onsite shop and takeaway restaurant, great food and again friendly staff. A few minutes drive to the lookout point with lovely little bays along the way for fishing and swimming.

Thanks Paul for the excellent food from the take away out the front. Tim was helpful and was great to refill my camping gas bottle. Price is very reasonable, might be an idea to charge a little extra and plough some money into the facilities. The camp sites are very large, housed my 10 man tent, 6.2m boat and car and still had plenty of room.

The comfiest bed we've slept in. Cute cabin had everything we needed for our short stay. Beautiful grounds and wildlife. Nice walk to nearby beach.|Kim at reception went out of her way to make our stay great!

Cabins are a bit old but they were pretty clean. Excellent place. Had early check in request. Tim from the caravan park office was extremely helpful and nice. He has helped to check us early and gave a good introduction to the place and around. Tim is legend. Will come back again.

Really lovely park with access to beach, walk or 4x4 track. We had fish and chips from the cafe which was really good!! We also had an egg and bacon roll which was amazing!!! They do Chinese on a Monday night. There is also a Japanese van but it's cash only so next time will be better prepared. Great mini golf $5 club hire pp Lovely pool area.

We had a fantastic 5 nights here, and we can’t rate that campground highly enough. We usually are off grid/bush campers and are generally ‘put off’ by campgrounds but this place was fantastic. Our site (65) was perfect, out every window including the roof hatch was an amazing view, the campground was very quiet even though it was very busy, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the amenities VERY clean and the WIFI worked well everywhere! We were very sad to leave this morning. Thank you so much to the team at Captain Cook Holiday Village, we had such a relaxing time.

Just had a lovely stay here, cabins were very clean and had everything we needed. The self check in was easy to use also. Shout out to the take away shop for a delicious dinner too!
